Safari and Salt Africa currently operates as a referral platform, connecting travelers with trusted third-party providers for safaris, fishing trips, accommodation, and experiences across Africa and the Indian Ocean. We do not currently handle bookings or payments directly.

For Third-Party Bookings
All bookings, payments, cancellations, and refunds are managed by the respective service provider. Each partner has their own cancellation and refund policy, which we recommend reviewing carefully before confirming your booking.
Safari and Salt Africa is not responsible for processing any refunds on behalf of these providers. However, we’re happy to assist in connecting you with the right contact if issues arise.

For Future Direct Bookings (If Applicable):
In the event that we begin offering direct bookings through this platform, the following terms will apply:
Cancellations & Refunds please see below.
• Cancellation by Client:
Cancellations must be made in writing. Refunds, if applicable, will be issued according to the cancellation terms outlined at the time of booking. Administrative or non-refundable deposit fees may apply.
• Cancellation Due to Weather:
In the event of weather conditions that make the activity unsafe or unfeasible (such as rough seas or dangerous wildlife conditions), we will attempt to reschedule your activity. If rescheduling is not possible, a partial or full refund may be considered at our discretion or that of the activity provider.
• No-Shows:
Guests who fail to arrive for an activity or service without prior notice will not be eligible for a refund.
Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or airline disruption).
Cancellation Policy
To secure your booking, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of confirmation. This deposit covers administrative costs and initial coordination with our trusted local partners.
Cancellations are subject to the following terms:
• 30+ days before activity date:
Full refund of any additional payments (excluding the 25% deposit), minus a $40 administrative fee.
• 15–29 days before activity date:
50% refund of total payment.
• 7–14 days before activity date:
25% refund of total payment or credit toward a future booking (subject to availability).
• Less than 7 days before activity date or no-shows:
No refund available.
